did someone say "socks" ?!

pomatomus... stalled. oh, it is a beauty! it IS interesting to knit. but, i am tired. tired. and, i must decide when to begin the toe. i always falter when deciding on the toe.

so, what's a girl to do?! start NEW socks !

this cotton/wool/nylon sock yarn (by regia) was purchased from elann a year ago spring. believe it or not, i've actually almost knitted it all up!

and this pretty yarn ... a similar blend by fortissima, which is deliciously softer than the regia.

and it doesn't stop there.

fresh yarns ! that scream spring ! first up, this yarn nerd dyed up by the multi-talented adam. i did begin swatching ....

and ...

this yummy sundara sock yarn, which came to me via a trade with chawne.
i have some prizes for her was well ... which need to get into the mail tomorrow.

and tonight? hmmm ... i'm sure i'll be knitting on sock(s).

Love 'em all.

If you end up not liking one - you could always make a special creature with it or one of your orphan socks.

I got my copy of the book. Now I'm hunting socks.

If I could change designs on sock patterns fast enough, maybe - just maybe, I could catch you - but I would have to visit my LYS first for advice (as always)!

I did not know about Yarn Nerd! Thanks for the link.

I like the Fortissimas best. Gorgeous autumnal palette, mmmm.

these are all coming along nicely--i can't believe you haven't casted that sundara on yet! go go go! no one will think less of you if you save that pomatomous for socktoberfest, but it sure is pretty! wish i was sittin on your porch with a glass of iced tea and my own poor lonely sock.

I really love the subtle variegations in your pomotamus yarn. Alas, I'm not having such a good time with the poms right now. I can't get the second side to line up with the pattern when I do the second half of the arc. It's slowly beating me. :(
