one down, one to go ....

single green girly sock

i often knit in public, and i am often asked if sock knitting is hard.

"no, the hardest part is knitting the (dreaded) second sock."

That sock is beautiful! I love GREEN and that is a particularly great shade!

Pretty! I always make my two socks side-by-side so I don't have that. I knit one cuff, then the other. One leg, then the other. One heel, then the other. This has the added benefit of helping me to remember what super obvious thing I do to the heel to make it work, because otherwise I completely forget and who needs notes. :o)

ok, I looked at your blog and green sock - happy now?
actually, what commentor jen said makes sense, especially the remembering part.

wow, you really cranked that out! I have resisted your sock knitting temptations for now but may start a new one next week...

now THAT is some cute sock! i think if i ever get around to making a sock, i might lake two at once like jen lest i lose motivation. i am feeling that way about finishing the second sleeve on the baby sweater i am almost done with, too! i have utterly stalled...

Perhaps the 'red' sock sunning was making a 'run' for sock friends at your place!...
