Thanks for stopping by my blog! To answer your question, the cross stitch stores will stretch your piece. I don't know how it's done, otherwise I'd probably be framing stuff myself! It looks like you are using Aida cloth - with that kind of fabric, stretching is not a big deal. It's a pretty stiff fabric so it's not going to sag if you frame it yourself. I usually use linen, which looks better when it's stretched tight in the frame.
