... i think it's the latter.
to make a pair, i knitted the mate in 2 days. i think it was easy to stay on task because the cheerful colors. i wish they were for me ... but, i have some more yarn in a different colorway for my socks.

Regia is some of the only self striping I like. I love the fact that you didn't try to match them! They are great! Very happy!
I'm also terribly amused by self-striping yarns.. I'm pretty sure its one of the only reasons that I can knit them faster than the non-striping variety.
