the best laid plans ...

... are not made while drinking martini's and knitting. so, last night's plan to alter the central park hoodie seemed brilliant at the time, but today proved to be so wrong ! so, after knitting 4" of ribbing for the back piece, in the wrong size, i cast on again tonight and knitted the 4" of ribbing and some of the chart repeats of the left front (i just couldn't face the back piece again). i will be posting progress pictures, if i don't have to rip out again.

and my socks? i am the worst WORST kal'er. i think i need a simple sock right now ... something i don't have to think about, swatch, or nothing. yes, i need the self-knitting sock yarn. where are my knitting fairies?!

Hang in there! The CPH has been lots of fun, very simple cabling once it gets going. Good Luck!

Self-knitting sock yarn, imagine how many socks we could all get done! :)

well... at least you figured it out before you got too far into it! Until lets say... after you knit the body and the sleeves and are onto the neck... Self knitting sock yarn? Wow, that would be great

I didn't know you were knitting the hoodie too! Are you using the yarn that the pattern calls for or did you get a substitute? Can't wait to see your finished hoodie!

the CPH is one of my favs - if I ever had time to knit. Would have to change yarns, but sure that I could make it look just as lovely.

take care
