but, this little mishap is not going to impede me from crocheting on ....
my shawl now has 9 completed motifs (9 out of 66!). i love looking at it and playing with it, and pretending it's really going to be a tablecloth or skirt
or the hazardous knitter, or the faux knitter, or the fruitless knitter, or .... (closet crocheter?) oh, i know! the knarcissistic knitter .... i LOVE looking at my own blog!

The crochet motifs are so cute in that color.
Pretty AND cute all in one post.
Oh, poor you... I hope that tenth ball of yarn did show up someplace in the meantime - fingers crossed!
I'm absolutely impressed by your crocheting, gosh, that's amazing indeed! And I love the bug, such a smiley, happy face!
Agent Gray,
Thanks to your email, I've shown my lack of adult patience, and I went out and got the Knitting Nature book. Fabulous! I've already started the spiral scarf with some SWTC Soy Silk from Bella. The pattern would be fun to adapt into crochet as well......
Agent Aubergine
dear dipsy, i went to back to the store and they let me take home a 10th ball of yarn, so all's good!
dear agent aubergine, i'm so glad i'm an enabler. i want all my friends to own books i don't own (yet) so i can drool over them!
