nasty nasty ick
i was looking at my photos via flickr, and found this one. yes, it's not even worthy of a larger image size!
am i the only person that thinks these things are freakish and ugly?
Thanks for commenting on my blog! You had a question about the Cash Iroha Hourglass sweater stretching... The photo I put in was the before shot, meaning before it stretched. I won't take a photo of it now because it's too unflattering. This was only my third sweater, and my first in-the-round. So I think my knitting became looser as I went on. My advice is to swatch and wash. See how much growth you get. I would also say to knit using at least one size smaller needle than you would normally would use. Other people I know who've used this yarn didn't experience as much stretching as I did, so I think it was a combination of the yarn and my knitting. I've knitted with Silk Garden since, and I made the sweater a little tight. After blocking, it came out perfectly. Have I rambled long enough? Let me know if you have any other questions!
